It’s painful and from a blank space to start sharing on a new website! Anyone relate?
I have declared a state of transformation. These first few posts will be from the past 8 weeks and then will follow on a current path! I will share as though in present time, but include the dates for you to have clear vision. It is an amazing journey with so many unexpected Blessings included!
My plans were to be on the road for my Cross Country Journey July 18,2016. Usually, it’s procrastination that keeps me from implementing my plans.
Not so, this time! Got a letter in the mail Saturday informing me of a recall on my car. So, there is a slight delay.
Parts had to be ordered from Denver and tomorrow the local Dodge Dealership here will keep Victory all day and fix her! What a hoot! It’s the ignition switch, meaning the engine could cut off and just not go. Victory is my 2010 Dodge Charger, my constant companion. Several of you have probably been a participant in this massive recall.
My neighbor and friends in Montana expressed concern that traveling alone for a female isn’t safe. Since this isn’t my first trip alone across country, I can dispute those fears with confidence. We live in a mobile world.
My first task was to be sure my companion, Victory was in the best shape possible. The dealership changed the oil, checked all hoses, AAA insurance is current a full tank of gas and Victory is ready to go. The recall was to replace the ignition module…now later there is an uncomfortable glitch.
Next, pack up everything in Montana that may be needed for an extended stay on the East Coast.
My mission statement for the trip. First, I want to drink in the beauty of the world around me. Secondly, it’s selfish, but I need to immerse my soul in some rich content from CD’s I will play along the way. Then, there is the List. Feel free to copy my list and let it inspire you to make one of your own.
Tears….lots of tears flowing like the little creek that was in the back yard. I catch my breath sharply as I drive away from precious people in my life, from a little girl who asks who will pick me up from school….from my comfort zone.
My mission is to Goforth & Prosper.
